Nan the story teller

Created by Simon 6 years ago

I will miss, but treasure the stories Nan told, from meeting the inlaws for the first time, to Swanage holidays, to the fog (breath) in Chislehurst Caves, to borrowing a wardens hat as shell cases rained down from above like metal rain. Getting a milk stout for Great Nan whilst enjoying the Grenadier Guards wolf whistles. The stories were always brilliantly told and it didn't matter if you'd heard them before,it was always special.

She never had a cross word for any of her Grandchildren or Great-grandchildren and she always made us feel special and a long life was her gift to us.

Be at peace now with Mum and Grandad
